The buttons are links to adding RSS feeds to your favorite homepage and can be done in 4 easy steps.
What are RSS feeds?
RSS (real simple syndication) is what populates the news stories on sites like Yahoo, Google, MSN and AOL. News sites like CNN publish their articles on their webpages as well as in a little file that resides behind the scenes. Sites like Yahoo go out and search for updates to these "behind the scenes" files and add that content to their respective news sections.
Goodguys Hot News can now be delivered right to your homepage in the same manner. Not the general Yahoo or MSN pages (we could only wish), but your "My Page" webpage on such services. Every time you log in to see your favorite cartoon, check stock quotes or look for a local movie on your "my page" you'll also get the latest Goodguy Hot News as well!
Below are 4 simple steps to adding this function to your "my page" once and for all. And just like that - your a web 2.0 expert! The below example uses Yahoo. The process is similar with Google, MSN and AOL. If you have your own RSS reader, simply click the orange RSS button and copy/paste the url.
