Even though heavy rain washed out the 5th Great American Nationals awards ceremony, Sunday, September 27th in Pocono, the drawing for a finalist to win the Speed ’33 Grand Prize Giveaway Car was held on schedule.

The Pocono finalist was entry #527, Ross Gilbert of Lancaster, PA. Gilbert was on hand at the event with two cars, his 1969 Camaro and ‘64 Chevy pickup.

Gilbert will be added to the final pool of qualifiers for the Speed ’33 which will be officially given away Sunday, November 22nd at the Goodguys 12th Southwest Nationals in Scottsdale, Arizona.
