The Goodguys Vintage Drag Racing Association is back on track in 2008! Goodguys will hold three Midwestern events this year featuring a full compliment of vintage drag racing action in as many as thirteen classes of competition for race cars through 1972 vintage. Racing will be held in Top Fuel, a nostalgia Funny Car exhibition, Competition classes, Gasser classes as well as other classes from the popular Midwest based Nostalgia Pro Comp Association. The popular “Geezer Gassers” and the Midwest Nostalgia Super Stock Association will also participate in the action packed events.

The events include:
- The 20th Hot Rod Nationals, June 6-8 at O’Reilly Raceway Park @ Indianapolis
- The 7th Blue Suede Cruise, September 5-7 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH
- The 1st Goodguys Nostalgia Nationals, October 17-19 at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, KY

Goodguys/VRA will also present two Friday Night Drag programs. The Goodguys Friday Night Drags will be held Friday evening July 11th at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, OH and the evening of July 25th at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA.

“It will be fun to introduce Goodguys Vintage Drag Racing to a new group of racers and fans in Norwalk, Ohio and Bowling Green Kentucky,” said Goodguys President Marc Meadors.
