Dwayne Peace’s twin turbocharged 1955 Ford Thunderbird, the car that won the prestigious 2012 Ridler award is coming to the 7th Nashville Nationals May 18-20 at LP Field! Peace’s bright red bird won’t have to travel far to get to the event as it’s been under the stewardship of Nashville’s Jesse Greening since late last year.
Peace’s Thunderbird is a modern masterpiece. Every panel on the car was reworked, massaged and hand formed to perfection. The car was built and designed by Jonathan Peace with help from Greening and his Nashville-based Greening Auto Company (who handled the paint work as well as some of the machine work on the car).
Under the smoothed hood rests an 1150 horsepower Gale Banks Enginnering 6.0 Liter V8 with plenty of polish. The wheels are one off polished and milled 7 spoke while the hand trimmed soft brown leather blends perfectly with the red exterior.
If you’re anywhere near Nashville the weekend of May 18-20 come on out to the Goodguys 7th Nashville Nationals @ LP Field and check out this amazing ride as well as over 1,500 other beauties! For complete event details click here:
