Bob Larivee Jr, CEO of Champion Auto Shows has passed away

Bob Larivee, Jr. CEO of Champion Auto Shows – promoters of the Detroit Autorama and other popular rod & custom events around the country passed away Sunday, August 25th. He was sixty-one.

Attending and working car shows since early childhood with his father Bob Larivee Sr, Larivee Jr worked tirelessly to promote rod & custom events exposing the cars, builders and exhibitors in our industry to the masses.

“It’s stunning and very sad news,” said Goodguys founder and chairman Gary Meadors on Larivee Jr’s sudden passing. “The Larviee family has done so much for our industry. My condolences go out to their entire family.”
