Fresh Paint and Chrome for Tribute ’32 Giveaway Car!

The Pinkee's Rod Shop '32 Ford chassis looks great coated in PPG Goodguys Yellow

A carrier pigeon arrived at Goodguys World Headquarters today via e-mail with pictures from Kindig-It Design in Salt Lake, City, UT. As you can see from the images below – The Goodguys “Tribute ’32″ Grand Prize Giveaway Car (for the 2013/2014 event seasons) is motoring right along in advance of its grand debut at the SEMA Show Oct 30-Nov 2nd in Las Vegas.

The Pinkee’s Rod Shop ’32 chassis has been painted Goodguys PPG yellow (or “yeller” as the Goodguy himself is fond of saying) as well as the GM Performance Ramjet 350 featuring a custom intake from Arizona Speed & Marine and the Hughes transmission. The bright & shiny chrome pieces are from Speedway Motors and Vintage Air.

Look for the finished car on display at the Taxi Cab drop-off area of the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. It will also be one of the featured vehicles at the HRIA Industry Awards reception Wednesday night, October 31st.
