Byrd’s Falcon Flies High

David Byrd’s 1963 Ford Falcon from Moneta, Virginia was selected by Jack Roush as the national winner of the 2009 Ford in a Ford award. As the winner, Byrd received a Ford Racing crate engine with parts and accessories from Roush Racing!

Byrd’s Falcon looks great on the street but would also look great on the dragstrip with a killer stance, 392ci stroker linked to an AOD transmission, Boyd wheels, beefy BF Goodrich rubber, stellar red paint, auto meter gauges and Vintage Air A/C. The leather upholstery is two tone red.
The car was selected as the Ford in a Ford regional winner at the 16th Southeastern Nationals in Charlotte before being selected as the national winner.
