The Goodguys 2013 event season officially wrapped last weekend in Del Mar, the sun setting on an outstanding, record setting year. The 3rd Meguiar’s Fall Del Mar Nationals, held literally steps from the Pacific Ocean at the gorgeous Del Mar Fairgrounds, was a great way to close things out with sunny weather, hot cars and good times. Its always good to be in ol’ Del Mar!

As we look back on the year, a tidal wave of magic memories come flooding back. The best weather we’ve seen in years was a constant theme through spring, summer and fall. The Goodguys Terrific 12 awards showcased the “now” cars in the hobby highlighting our most talented industry builders. And the Goodguys AutoCross was a year-long battle culminating in a great crescendo with the Finals Shootout, won by Danny Popp.

But what really stands out is the spirit of our rodding fellowship, the dedicated Goodguys Rodder’s Reps and all the host clubs helping to make the events go so smoothly. Without all these dedicated fellows and in some cases, volunteers, the magic of a Goodguys weekend just wouldn’t be possible.

With Thanksgiving just days away, we wanted to send our deepest gratitude to our entire Goodguys family and friends, members, sponsors and partners on making 2013 one of the best we’ve ever seen.
