Solid gold ground poundin’ (that phrase is borrowed from a 60s radio ad) vintage drag racing returns this summer as Goodguys present not one, not two, but three big time Friday Nite Drags in June and July!
Goodguys is returning to the hallowed grounds of Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis for a one-night-only drag race to be held Friday night June 6th! The event will be headlined by current NHRA Funny Car stars Ron Capps and Cruz Pedgregon. Capps will drive Frank & Linda Ousley’s “Crop Duster” Barracuda funny car while Pedregon will drive his own “California Charger” tribute car in a two-run match race. Sportsman racing in seven classes will be open to all years, makes and models of American cars at Indy. Special car show parking will be reserved for participants at the Goodguys All American Nationals – happening that same weekend at the Indiana State Fairgrounds
The popular Goodguys Friday Nite Vintage Drags also make their return to National Trail Raceway outside Columbus, Ohio Friday, July 11th and Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA Friday, July 25th. Special exhibition cars including nitro funny cars and gassers are currently being booked for the Columbus and Puyallup races. Both of these events will also feature special parking for Goodguys show cars!
