Goodguys Deliver the Fun in Florida!

Osceola Heritage Park is a sparkling new facility and served as a perfect venue for Goodguys event!

Goodguys All American Nationals is a brand new event concept for Goodguys this year. The idea is to get all car guys and gals involved, young and old, late model and early model, muscle cars to custom cars, hot rods to customs all together for a three day festival of fun! The only rule is they’ve gotta be American made or American powered.

It worked! And it worked great! Last weekend’s 1st All American Nationals at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida was the first of three such events for Goodguys this 2014 season. Under warm summer-like skies, over 1,200 show cars (plus another couple hundred in the AutoTrader Classics Cars for Sale Corral) rolled through the gates to be part of the new event.

Right from Thursday’s Poker Run and Kickoff Party at Old Town Kissimmee, the weekend had an air of excitement. You can image the excitement for both Goodguys and event participants coming together at a brand new venue for the first time. It was like clockwork! The massive show field was wide and expansive not to mention about 7 rows deep! It was filled to the brink during the event’s apex mid afternoon on Saturday. The cars were stunning in many cases – a spectacular mix of old and new. What struck most of the Goodguys staff was how friendly everyone was! Lots of cool folks havin’ a brand new kind of Goodguys fun.

With so many new and vintage cars on hand, a demanding Goodguys AutoCross course was in order. Director Trent Summers delivered with a long, yet narrow course good for sub-30 second laps by the season pro’s as well as fast times for the up and comers.

With the car-centric Old Town Kissimmee just 15 miles from the venue, a police escort was arranged (presidential style!) to Old Town for their popular Saturday Night Cruise. Hundreds of cars rumbled from Osceola Heritage Park down Highway 192 to take part in the Old Town fun. It was a very, cool evening.

When a fresh, new event starts out with a bang like this, the momentum has already been established for a return visit next April. The 2nd Goodguys All American Nationals returns to Osceola Heritage Park April 24, 25 & 26, 2015.

Two additional Goodguys All American Nationals remain on the schedule this year – the All American Nationals – INDIANAPOLIS, June 6, 7 & 8 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds as well as the Goodguys/Grundy Worldwide Insurance All American Nationals – W. Springfield Father’s Day weekend, June 13-15 at the Big E in W. Springfield, Massachusetts.
