The biggest & best hot & custom car event west of the Mississippi rumbles into the Pleasanton Fairgrounds this weekend bringing over 3,500 1972 & older rods, customs, classics, muscle cars, trucks, and vintage sports cars! It’s Goodguys 28th West Coast Nationals presented by Flowmaster – the “Crown Jewel”!
The candy colored vintage cars and trucks will be sprawled throughout every square foot of the 267-acre show grounds. Entries are coming in from 31 states and 3 foreign countries. There will be cruising, major awards, hundreds of manufacturer’s exhibits, live rock & roll music, vintage dragsters cackling, an automotive-themed swap meet, kids activities and more. Its motor mania and it’s a perfect weekend to celebrate America’s car crazy culture!
While the cars are the main course, the event is filled with other highlights and attractions. Over 300 performance automotive companies set up exhibits featuring a wide spectrum of automotive products, supplies and parts. The Bay Area Engine Modelers will hold their annual exhibit of amazing scale model engines and Goodguys will crown America’s Most Beautiful Street Rod Saturday evening.
The West Coast Nationals excitement gets started early Monday morning with the Fred Zimmerman Memorial Hot Rod Week! Four big days of guided hot rod tours in and around the Bay Area. Everyone is invited! Just show up at the Pleasanton Hilton in your show car by 8am Monday through Thursday, get a map and blast off with the group at 8:30! More Hot Rod Week details can be found here
