As we look back on the classic trucks in 2016, the landscape has shifted. No longer are these old trucks just the tool used to haul hot rods, many of these homebuilt haulers and professional built pickups, SUVs and commercial trucks from the ‘50s through the ‘70s are popping up at Goodguys events, capturing the spotlight and taking home awards.

While ’55-59 Chevy pickups, C/10s, and the coveted ‘56 F100s are still the choice of many, the popularity of more rare breeds like Scouts, mid-’60s F100s,
and cab overs are on the rise. What makes the pre-72 truck sector so exciting is the variety of trucks, which includes beautifully restored stock pickups to full blown custom trucks and everything in between.

2016 was a great year for the truck platform and we can’t wait to see what 2017 brings. Until then, enjoy some of our favorites from our travels around the country.
