american cancer society road to recovery

The American Cancer Society is looking for volunteer drivers to take cancer patients to and from their doctor’s appointments and hospital treatments. Goodguys members – you can help!

When transportation is a cancer patient’s biggest roadblock to treatment, the American Cancer Society Road to Recovery program provides the rides that can help save lives. Can you imagine how happy a ride in your hot rod, custom car, street machine or tricked out truck might make them? Talk about an uplifting experience!

This is a perfect way to give back to those in your community who could use a lift, especially children. And in true hot rodder style, you can make their day extra bright with a thunderous V8, an extra-powerful trip to the doctors.

This is perfect for retired hot rodders to fill a few hours a week helping out. Even if you’re not retired and have a few spare hours, this is a great program which we endorse 100%!
