Are you an up and coming, young car builder (27 or younger) who’d like to win a trip to show off the ride you built at this year’s SEMA Show and compete in the prestigious SEMA Battle of the Builders? If so, your final two chances to get to Vegas are waiting for you at the Goodguys 17th Great Northwest Nationals, August 17-19 in Spokane, WA as well at the Goodguys 32nd West Coast Nationals presented by BASF in Pleasanton, CA!
SEMA launched the Young Guns initiative last year as part of their popular Battle of the Builders competition, and they’ve partnered with Goodguys once again to identify worthy young candidates. The Young Guns program aims to promote younger enthusiasts and provide them with opportunity for national exposure.
Aspiring Young Guns could qualify in the Hot Rod category at any Goodguys event this year up to our 32nd West Coast Nationals. At each of our events, two event finalists were identified, and photos of their cars were posted online to be voted on by the Goodguys social media audience. The winner of the vote became the season finalist from that event.
Goodguys will be awarding 5 Hot Rod winners that will receive an all-expense paid trip for two to the 2018 SEMA Show, October 30-November 2 in Las Vegas, including transportation of their vehicle and automatic entry into the 2018 SEMA Battle of the Builders.
For your chance to qualify, be sure to ask for a special Young Guys poster board and windshield card show car registration. Park in the Young Guys area at the event on Saturday for the finalist selection process! All Young Guys entries will be entered in a special social media poll to select one finalist from each event. Those Goodguys finalists will then be eligible for the final Young Gun Hot Rod winner selection taking place in September.
