Are you a young car builder (27 or younger) who’d like to win a trip to show off your ride at this year’s SEMA Show – and compete in the prestigious SEMA Battle of the Builders? Your chance to get there is waiting for you at a Goodguys event this summer!

SEMA is launching a Young Guns initiative as part of its popular Battle of the Builders competition at the 2017 SEMA Show and they’ve partnered with Goodguys to identify worthy candidates. The Young Guns program aims to promote younger enthusiasts and provide them with opportunity for national exposure. Three Young Guns winners – one each in a Hot Rod, Truck, and Tuner category – will be awarded an all-expense paid trip for two to the 2017 SEMA Show, October 31 – November 3 in Las Vegas. The winner will get transportation of their vehicle and an automatic entry into the 2017 SEMA Battle of the Builders competition. Aspiring Young Guns builders will have a chance to qualify in the Hot Rod category at one of these five 2017 Goodguys events:

  • 24th Summer Get-Together, Pleasanton CA, June 3-4
  • 26th Speedway Motors Heartland Nationals, Des Moines, IA, Jun 30-July 2
  • 20th PPG Nationals, Columbus, OH, July 7-9
  • 30th Pacific Northwest Nationals, Puyallup, WA, July 28-30
  • 31st West Coast Nationals presented by Flowmaster, Pleasanton CA, August 25-27

For your chance to qualify, be sure to ask for a special Young Guns poster board and windshield card when you register at one of these events. All Young Guns entries will be entered in a special social media poll to select one finalist from each event. Those five Goodguys finalists will then be eligible for the final Young Gun Hot Rod winner selection taking place in September.
